Sale of Domain (ASX: DHG)

Across the Australian Equity component of investor portfolios (Growth Tilt), we have sold Domain (ASX: DHG). Domain is an Australian online real estate listings and agent services provider.

An offer of $4.20 was made for DHG last night by CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP). In addition to the takeover offer, we received a proposal to acquire shares from CoStar at the takeover price, which we accepted.

We decided to exit the position for the following reasons:

The proposed offer price was elevated relative to our forecast valuation
An adequate control premium is being offered
There is uncertainty around any further competing offers and the risk of the offering falling through

Proceeds from the sale of DHG will be re-deployed across the portfolio in time.
