Samantha (Sam to her friends) was a maths wiz from a young age. She could’ve gravitated to rocket science but she decided finance would be way cooler. And it turns out she was right. NASA’s loss was our gain.
Sam is a super smart CFA Charterholder who enjoys her current role in the Elston Asset Management team. She says it’s the perfect blend of relationship building and technical thinking.
Outside of work she loves to travel. With her new open water scuba certification in hand, she plans to celebrate the end of lockdown by packing up her diving gear and jetting up to Indonesia. It’s a part of the world that holds a special place in her heart. As a kid growing up in Kerinci, she attended an international school. It was a life changing experience that nurtured an appreciation of different cultures.
When she’s not working, or travelling, or travelling for work, she’s hanging with her partner John, dreaming of taking a deep dive on her home renovations, and teaching her Golden Retriever Rex basic algebra and calculus.
